The summer is here and it's time for me to create...shoes!
I love shoes...simple, functional and hardworking are the attributes of my favorite shoes...think Clarks, Dr. Martens, Oxygen
After taking an amazing sandal making class with Stace Fulwiler in Oakland and creating an absolutely stylish and wearable pair of sandals I took a trip to O Baltor and Sons in South San Francisco...and what a trip that was.
A warehouse full of shoe-making and leather related treasures. Living the dream right there. Purchased shoe-making supplies and made a pair of leather sneakers! Pattern needs some teaking. Maybe shoe lasts are necessary.
Off to the rabbit hole we go...
